CHINESE UPHEAVAL
HEAVY FIGHTING REPORTED NATIONALISTS SUFFER REVERSE. 'SHANGHAI, February 15. The Nationalists suffered severe reverses in the vicinity of Shasi during the Yangtse fighting. Simultaneously Sun-chuan-fang, erstwhile overlord of Shanghai, and five south-eastern provinces, launched an attack on the northern front in the vicinity of Tsinpu. Heavy fighting is reported from Hsuchofu, the objective being a strategic point on the Tientsin-Pukow railway.
