SUNDAY SCHOOL PICNIC

The annual picnic of St. Matthew’s Church Sunday School was held on Saturday at Forbury Park. The s;ccml car which left town at 10 a.m. was filled with scholars. On arrival at tho grounds amusements of all kinds were eonn in full swing A bountiful lunch h iving been, partaken of, a programme of sports events was carried out before an interested gathering of parishioners and friends. The committee is indebted to tho many kind friends who contributed towards tho picnic fund, to the Forbury Trotting Club for tho use of tho grounds and tea rooms, and to Mr Wootton for the use of tho crockery.
