(Received February 16, at 1.30 a.m.) A single seater Bristol Bulldog, specially' equipped with a supercharged device, is preparing to attack Donati’s record. The pilot will wear electri-cally-heated clothing, and will also ba supplied with oxygen. As he may become unconscious at a great height, the machine is constructed in a manner that enables it to fly a level keel and rrlide slowly earthwards until the pilot recovers sufficiently to regain recontrol. [A message received on December 25 stated ; A Turin message reports that Donati reached a height of 38,802 ft in an officially supervised flight. This is claimed to be a world’s record.]
