Making a welcome reappearance in Dunedin after an absence of six years, Eric V. Conway, the English actor, is playing a major role in the remarkable play, ‘ Suspense,’ which is to open its Australasian season at His Majesty’s next Monday wek. Especially chosen by the author to play the difficult role of “ SSpencer.” Mr Conway has a part which might nave been especially written for him. Undoubtedly his interpretation of the part has helped materially the success of this extraordinary mystery play, and he will be sure of a welcome fro mtlfe many friends which he made upon the occasion of his last visit. Billed as “ the play which cannot be filmed,” ‘Suspense’ has a sustained electrical. atmosphere which makes it a first-grade entertainment, and places it in a class by itself., - ‘'Us. •
