FARM LABORER’S DEATH
THROWN FROM HORSE As the result of injuries sustained through being thrown from a horse a farm laborer named Campbell M‘Kinnon, aged twenty-five years, died at the Dunedin Hospital at a late hour last night. The deceased, who resided with his parents at Sutton, was riding a horse at Midcllemareli yesterday, when it bolte dand ran into a fence. M’Kinnon was thrown and kicked by the horse, being brought to the Dunedin Hospital at 4 p.m., suffering from a fractured skull. His death occurred a few hours later. The inquest was opened at the Hospital this morning, Mr J. R. Bartholomew, S.M., sitting as coroner. Constable Culloty watched the proceedings for the police. James M'Kinnon identified the body as that of his son, who was single, aged twenty-five-At this stage the inquest was adjourned sine die.
