LONDON, February 14. (Received February 15, at 9 a.m.) It is understood that the Hon. William Ormsby-Gore (Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies) will officially visit the Federated Malay States in the middle of March. This is the first occasion on which a Minister has made such a visit during his term of office. Ho will collect evidence on a number of subjects, including transport, progress, education, agriculture, medical and veterinary services, and officially report on his return. Ho will similarly proceed on visits to East and West Africa. Representaives of the Empire Marketing Board and the Colonial Office will accompany him. No political significance attaches to the visit, which is a part of the movement for Imperial officials to visit the dominions and colonics.
