OTTAWA, February 13. (Received February 14, at 10 a.m.) The total death toll at the Hollinger mine fire is thirty-nine—the largest ever reported in a mine disaster in Ontario. The tragedy is the first of its kind in North America, a lire in a quartz mine having previously been unknown.
