DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE. There were no’ sales an ’Change or reported at this morning’s silling of. the Stork Exchange, while the majority of the shares remained about the same prices as hist week. The banking section remained unaltered. In the insurance section buyers of Nationals improved their quotes to 15s 3d, but no sellers responded. There were buyers for most of the Loan and Mercantile shares. £l3 16s was offered for Daigctys, but no sellers quoted less than £l3 18s 6d. Goldsbrough Morts were wanted at £2 Bs, but the best seller wanted £2 8s 6d. Buyers of British Tobaccos offered £1 19s 6d, but the best seller stood at £2. Brewery shares wore inclined to bo firm this morning, and a buyer offered £2, but a seller was not tempted below £2 Ss. Upper Nevis .shares were inclined to weaken, and sellers were prepared to quit, at £1 3s Cd. The Government shares remained much Urn same as they were at the end of last week. Quotations as under:
