PRINCESS THEATRE

GEORGE WALLACE TO-NIGHT. That popular comedian George Wallace has thrice visited Dunedin, and on each occasion he has been received with tremendous enthusiasm. ItspeaKS well for the little fun-maker when it is announced that he is to return to the Princess Theatre for the fourth time to-niglit. For his opening show George has written a brand new revue, entitled ‘Married Blisters,’ which, according to reports, will completely outmerit all previous efforts. He has also made a fine selection of vaudeville numbers to be presented in the first, half of the bill, which should provide two and a-half hours of the happiest entertainment. As long as George Wallace has anything to do with the mirth-making one can always be prepared for some really bright times, for his humor is always clean and original. The members of his company lend valuable assistance to the fun-maker. According to an Adelaide writer George Wallace at his final performance was given a farewell seldom witnessed in a theatre there. Although George made a brief speech of thanks, the audience was not satisfied, and many waited in the street and carried him shoulder high.
