DENTIST'S STIFF NECK
A Paris dentist was recently claiming damages from a friend, an antiquary, with whom he went out recently for a day’s shooting. The friend drove him home afterwards, but the car struck a gatepost and nearly overturned. The dentist’s head struck the roor of the car with such violence that he ricked his neck. The injury has left him stiffnecked, and lie is consequently unable to look into the mouths of clients in the operating chair. This being a serious disability for a dentist, he claims nearly £I,OOO from his friend, who declines to pay. The question has therefore been carried into the courts.
