TREES AND SHEEP DESTROYED

NELSON, February 11
Serious jerub fires in tho Redwoods Valley resulted in 11,000 acres of land baling swept. The strenuous efforts of the settlers saved several houses which were endangered. Many acres of pious insignus trees and also a considerable number of sbeop were destroyed.
