THE ST. HILDA BAUD The above band leaves for Christchurch on Friday morning next, and the concert to-morrow evening will probably be the final public performance prior to the contest. Included in the programme will be the ‘Poet and X’easant ’ overture_ and several hymns by request. The St. Kilda Band makes a feature of iis hymn playing, md is pleased to oblige visitors with special request numbers. A collection in aid of contest expenses will ie lateen.
