PARLIAMENTARY OPPONENTS ACTIVE INTRODUCTION OF BILL. (British Official News.') Frets Association—By Wireless—Copyrignt RUGBY, February 8. The Parliamentary Committee of the opponents of greyhound racing decided last, night to introduce in Parliament a Bill empowering local authorities to veto the construction of tracks for such racing in their areas, and a deputation was appointed to wait on the Home Secretary regarding his statement last session that if inquiry showed that juvenile betting on greyhounds existed, and his present powers were inadequate, he would seek fresh powers to deal witli the evil A Bill to legalise the installation of totalistors on British racecourses, which is to bo introduced in the House oi Commons on Friday, limits its application to grounds used lor horse racing, and takes no account of (he existence of greyhound racing tracks,
