The Rotorua High School was opened yesterday afternoon hy Mr R. A, Wright (Minister of Education). There was a, large gathering. Mr 11. IX Nesbitt, chairman of the Board of Governors, stressed the advisability of acquiring adjacent Crown land for agricultural and afforestation experimental work, using the high school facilities for scientific research. Tho Minister expressed pleasure at the development of the school since the laying of the foundation stone in April last. Mr T. Nncra, who was present when tho agreement was arrived at setting apart the endowment, said he was gratified at the results achieved.
