.A meeting of the committee of in Monday evening at the residence of Mr Paton, Elgin road. Several mutters of vital interest to the residents of the district came up for discussion, including the Mailer street extension. A letter was received from the City Council which indicates that the work will proceed at an early date. It was decided to advertise through the local Press calling the attention of the ratepayers to the benefits the association had obtained, and asking for support.
