After discharging her cargo, the Calm, which arrived yesterday, morning,, sailed again last night with cargo for discharge at Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. The Breeze arrived last night from Lyttelton. She is scheduled to load general cargo to-day, and sails to-night lor Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. The Upilii arrived this morning iroin Timaru. After discharging her cargo she will proceed to Port Craig to load for Dunedin, Lyttelton, and Wellington (lie Kanna is expected to arrive about 5 p.m. to-day, and after discharging her Dunedin cargo, will sail to-morrow for Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. The Corinna is expected lo leave Wellington to-day for Dunedin direct. She is scheduled to load out on Monday for Wellington and New .Plymouth via, ports. , The Knrow leaves Auckland to-mor-row with cargo for discharge at Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluil. The Arawa is loading a cargo of frozen meat at Port Chalmers, She is excecied .to sail for northern ports to-mnrruw. The Waipahi arrived at Auckland on Wednesday evening with a cargo ot fruifl. Fiji.

Tho C. and D. liner Port Albany is scheduled to leave New A'ork on February 18 for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. THE FERRY SERVICE. The Maori, from Wellington, arrived at Lyttelton at 6.45 a.m. to-day. Passengers and mails connected with the first express for the south. OPAWA SOLD. A cable from London reports that, the New Zealand Shipping Company’s line' 1 Opawa has been sold for £20,006 to a Norwegian whaling company for conversion into a factory. PERSONAL. Mr R. E. Suckling is now second officer of the Tamahino. Mr G. M. Schofield recently reported as having passed for his mate’s certificate, and has relieved Mr C. G. Welch, third officer of the Kurow', for holidays. Mr E. V. Bilger has reported as having passed for extra master at Sydney, and is rejoining the R.M.M.S. Aorangi as junior third officer at Sydney this trip. Mr W. J. Weber is being promoted senior third officer, relieving Mr G. H. Kime for holidays. Air L. P. Bourke recently passed bis examination for mate at Sydney. Captain R. Huntly arrived from Sydney this week, and is at present awaiting instructions at Wellington. CANADIAN CHALLENGER’S MOVEMENTS.

Messrs H. L. Tapley and Co. advise that the Canadian Challenger, from Halifax, was to leave Auckland yesterday for Wellington, Bluff, Dunedin, Timaru. and Lyttelton to discharge the remainder of her Canadian cargo, and load products for New York, Boston, and Halifax. The vessel is due at this port on February 19. IKALA REPORTS. A cable message from America states that the steamer Ikala, en route from Eastern Canadian ports to New Zealand and Australia, arrived at Hampton Roads on February 4. The Ikala is due at Auckland about March 14. ZEALANDIC FOR NEW ZEALAND. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Line’s new motor ship Zealandic is to load at London about the end of February for her maiden voyage to New Zealand. The vessel is due at Auckland early in April. MATA HO A RADIOS. A radio message received from the captain of the Mataroa states that tho vessel will arrive at Wellington at "noon on Friday, February 17, from London. The Mataroa is bringing a large number of passengers for New Zealand, and cargo for discharge at 'Wellington and Auckland. MAM (LIUS LEAVES LYTTELTON. The Sbaw-Savill liner Mamilius was to leave Lyttelton yesterday for Bluff and Port. ..Chalmers to complete Homeward loading. The vessel is scheduled to sail finally from this port on February 21 for London via Panama. HERMINUS FROM ANTWERP. The Slunv-Savill liner Herminus, en route from Antwerp to Auckland, is reported to have left Balboa last Sunday morning in continuation of her voyage to New Zealand.
