VIOLATION OF GRAVES DEPRECATED REINTERMENT OF ROYAL REMAINS SUGGESTED Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, February 8. (Received February 9, at 10.80 a.m.) The Cairo correspondent ol ‘The Times ’ says that the reinterment of all royal mummies in their own sarcophagi and their return to the original tombs is the proposal of an ex-Cabinet Minister, Ismael Sidky, which has been submitted to Parliament, _ He says that any scientific results in disinterring the mummies have been completed, and further exposure _ merely panders 1.0 vulgar public curiosity, especially in foreign tourists. No other nation would dream of allowing an exhibition of Royal remains, which also was not in accord with the practice of the ancient Egyptians, who employed every precaution to ensure respect of thendead.
