The Opibi left AVcsiport at midnight on Monday for Timaru and Dunedin. She is due here on Friday, and alter discharging her cargo will proceed to Port Craig to load for Dunedin and AVcllingtou. The Kaikorai is to be recommissioned at Port Chalmers on Tuesday next, and sails the same day for Lyttelton via. Bluff. She will load at Sydney, Newcastle, and Port Stephen lor Bluff, Dunedin, and Lyttelton. The Kurow is to leave Auckland tomorrow for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. The Waikouaiti is expected to leave Sydney on Tuesday next for Bluff, Dunedin. Lyttelton, and Timaru. The Kamo mi is scheduled to leave Lyttelton this evening for _ Dunedin, where she will load out on Friday tor Lyttelton. AVelliligton. and Auckland. The New Zealand Shipping Company has received advice that the Devon, en route from Antwerp, to Auckland, cleared Newport News on February r. THE FERRY SERVICE. The ferry steamer Maori, from AVellington, arrived at Lyttelton at 6.40 a.m., and passengers and mails connected with the first express.

Line’s chartered steamer City of Bath lett Auckland yesterday lor Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Australian ports to discharge the remainder ol her general caigo from New York. Advice has been received by the New Zealand Shipping Company that the Ruapehu, en route from London and Southampton to Wellington, Lyttelton, and P.ort Chalmers, arrived at Colon on February 4. The vessel is due at Wellington on February 26. CANADIAN CHALLENGER FRUM HALIFAX. Messrs H. L. Tnplcy and Co. advise that the Canadian Challenger is due at Auckland to-day from Halilax. The vessel has Canadian cargo for Auckland, Wellington, Bluff, Dunedin, Tiniarn, and Lyttelton. She will also load at the ports named for New York, Boston, and Halifax. The Canadian Challenger is expected at Dunedin on February 21. ROTORUA THROUGH PANAMA. Advice has been received by the New Zealand Shipping Company that the Rotorua, en route from London and Southampton to Wellington and Auckland, arrived at Colon on February 4, and sailed from :Panama on February 5. The vessel is due at Wellington on February 26. DEWEY FROM PACIFIC COAST. Advice, has been received by Messrs Turnbull. Martin, and Co. that the Dewey, from Pacific coast ports, arrived at Auckland on Monday evening. The vessel is carrying general merchandise, case oil, and lumber. Her other discharging ports are Wellington, Timarn, and Dunedin. The Dewey is expected at ibis port about February ]!). CUMBERLAND FOR PORT CHALMERS The New Zealand Shipping Company icport that the Cumberland is due at Port Chalmers on February 20 from Wellington to load a largo quantity of wool. The vessel is to sail finally from this port on February 22 for London, via Panama. HUNTINGDON R ECOMMfSSIONEO. The Federal liner, Huntingdon, which was iccomniissioncd at Port Chalmers, left last evening for Bluff to commence loading for Southampton, London, and West of England ports. She is due back at Port Chalmers on February 15 for further loading, and is fixed to sail on February 16 for Timam, Lyttelton, and Wellington to complete her cargo. PACIFIC COAST CARGO.
