LATE SPORTING
CRICKET OTAGO PLAYERS FOR PRACTICE. The following players have been chosen to attend practice at Carisbrook on Wednesday and Thursday of each week at 6 p.m.,' in view of the visit of the Australian team:—Blunt, Dickinson, Douglas, and Gourley (Carisbrook), Torrance, Strang, Cherry, and Cavanagh (Dunedin), Vorrath,_ Shepherd, Duncan, Blair, and Caskie (Albion), Alloo, Galland, M'Mullan, Knight, and Elmcs (Grange). SOUTHLAND TEAM. The Southland team passed through .Dunedin this morning on its way to Oamaru, whore it is to play to-morrow.
