GUN FATALITY. A man named Leslie glummer, aged thirty-two, a laborer, was found dead on his father’s farm in Kent road, New Plymouth, late last night. Early m the evening he took a gun to look for rabbits, and, not returning, a search was made, and the body found close to a wire fence, with the gun alongside, and one barrel discharged. It is assumed that in getting through or over the fence the gun was accidentally discharged.—Press Association. MAN ELECTROCUTED. An Otaki Association message states that a young man named Claude Ingley was electrocuted while working on the power line in Waitoku Valley this morning. John M'Leod, five years of age, and residing at 264 George street, was admitted to the hospital at 11.30 tins morning suffering from severe injuries to his face, caused by being knocked down by a motor car in George street. His injuries are not considered serious, and he is reported to be improving rapidly. BOY DROWNED. A Nelson Association telegram states that a boy named Ronald Hughie Hollis, aged nine, was drowned in Motupipi River, Takaka district. He was bathing with two companions, got out of his depth, and was drowned in 6ft of waters
