(11 p.m.), 1,172 lons, Dalglcish, for N.nplcr and Gisborne via ports. The Kamona was to leave Wellington to-day for Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due here on Thursday, and loads out on Friday for Lyttelton, Wellington. and Auckland. The Calm is due at Dunedin on Thursday morning from Bluff, and sails the same day for Timarn, Lyttelton. and Wellington. The Breeze is expected to arrive at Dunedin on Friday, and sails the same day for Timarn, Lyttelton, Picton, and Wanganui. 'The Kahika sailed last night for Oamarn, Timarn, and Lyttelton to complete loading for Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne.

Tbe Huntingdon, which was laid up at Port Chalmers before Christmas, is to sail this evening lor Bluff to load. The coaster Holradaie left shortly after midday yesterday for Oamaru and Lyttelton to complete loading for Wellington and Wanganui. The Canadian Challenger is due at Auckland to-morrow from Canadian ports. She will discharge at Wellington, Lyttelton, Timarn, and Dunedin. The steamer Highgate left San Francisco on January 26 with a full cargo of bitumen for Wellington. The vessel is due in New Zealand about February 20. THE FERRY SERVICE. The ferry steamer Wahino, from Wellington, arrived at Lyttelton at 6.45 a.m. to-day. Passengers and mails connected with the first express for the south. TRANSPACIFIC CARGO SERVICE. The Union Company announces the following projected movements of vessels engaged in the transpacific cargo service Waikawa left Los Angeles on Tuesday last for Papeete, Napier, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff, and New Plymouth. She is due at Papeete _on February 15, and at Napier on February 25. Waitemala, which arrived at Victoria, 8.C., on January 25, is completing loading at San Francisco, thence Los Angeles for Apia, Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, and Sydney

Wairuna was expected to clear Newcastle on Saturday last for Vancouver and San Francisco via Fiji. She is due at Suva on February 11. Hauraki left San Francisco on January 28 for Auckland, Wellington, Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide. She is due at Auckland about February 19. Waiotapu, from Pacific Const via Auckland, is expected to leave Wellington on Wednesday lor Melbourne and Sydney.

Waihemo left Auckland January 28 for Vancouver and San Francisco. She is due at Vancouver about February 24 The forward loading dates at the Pacific Coast arc approximately as follow : Waihemo loads at Vancouver and San Francisco at the end of February and early in March lor Auckland, Melbourne, and Sydney. Wairuna loads at Vancouver and San Francisco during March for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, and Sydney. Waiotnpu loads at Vancouver and San Francisco early in April for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, and Sydney.

Waikawa loads at Vancouver and San Francisco late in April and early May for Napier, Lyttelton, and New Plymouth, also Bluff and Nelson if sufficient inducement offers. Hauraki loads at Vancouver and San Francisco during May for Auckland, Wellington,. Melbourne, Adelaide, and Sydney. "Waitemala loads at Vancouver nnd San Francisco during May for New Zealand and Australian ports. A RAW A ARRIVES. With cargo from West Coast ports ol the United Kingdom, the Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Arawa arrived at Port Chalmers via Auckland, Wellington, and Lyttelton at 8 a.m. to-day. 'The vessel loaded at Glasgow, Avoumoutli, and Liverpool, and, after embarking passengers at the last-named port, sailed finally from Home on December 13. For (be first ten days, coming across the North Atlantic, rough seas and breezy conditions were experienced. The Arawa arrived at Colon on December 28, and after coaling there entered the Canal. Slight trouble was experienced in the engine room, and the vessel had to spend Now 5 car’s Eve at. Balboa. Tliis suited tiie passengers, who spent the evening ashore, viewing the Panamanian festival. Fine weather was the order in the Pacific until January 19, when two days’ heavy seas , wore encountered.
