OPEN AIR ENTERTAINMENT
Or. Saturday evening next a unique open-air entertainment will be held at the Carishrook Ground. The Kaikorai, St. Kilda, Mosgicl, 'Tramway, and Dunedin Pipe Bands, which will shortly be proceeding to tho contest at Christchurch, will go through the evolutions of a quickstep, and play the march selected lor the contest. The ■programme will also include cycling and running races, a mile relay race, and a primary school relay race. It wnl thus be seen that a most interesting evening’s entertainment has been arranged. An art union will also be held; the prizes being pictures valued at 1 First prize £lO, second prize £o, third prize £3, fourth prize £2, filth prize £l. These tickets also admit to the entertainment, and particulars of their sale appear in our advertising columns. These tickets will not be sold at the gates. The proceeds are in aid of the Otago Cricket Association.
