(Received February 4, at 11.30 a.m.) Referring to the cable from Paris cabled yesterday, Borotra said he had not received a cable from the French Lawn Tennis Association asking them to return to France in view of the approaching Davis Cup matches. He did not expect to receive one, and said that the French association had approved of the arrangements before they left. He added that the players would carry out their part of the prgramme.
