The meeting was held as a welcome to the Wanganui representatives on their return from the championships at Dunedin. There wore over sixty races and over 300 competitors—a, record for Wanganui. Mr W. A. Vcitch, M.P.. congratulated the Wanganui representatives on breaking four records at Dunedin.
