Cameron, Wellington, at Napier last night lowered tho New Zealand intermediate _ 100yds record for sajt water, covering the distance in 58 2-osec, The former record was 61sec. DOWSETT’S FIFTY YARDS RECORD. Norman Dowsett broke the dominion record for 50yds at Wanganui last night, covering the distance in 24sec! The meeting was held as a welcome to the Wanganui representatives on their return from the championships at Dunedin. There wore over sixty races and over 300 competitors—a, record for Wanganui. Mr W. A. Vcitch, M.P.. congratulated the Wanganui representatives on breaking four records at Dunedin.
