Results: — North Island Championship Doubles.—Final; Colonel Dupre and Miss Steele beat Mrs M‘Do well and Mrs Cole, 36-17. Ladies’ Open Singles (second ute). — Third round; Miss lletallack beat Mrs Kibblewhite, 26-U; Airs Johnson beat Miss \Vatkin, 26-0 Fourth round: Mrs Golclsburv beat Airs Len A\ atkins, 20Is;Miss Hesketh boat Aliss Sheet, 263; Miss lletallack boat Airs Gambadl, 26-4. ■ The following will represent the North Island in a lest match against England to-morrow: — Singles.—H. P. Stratton (Hastings), R. Caughley (Wellington), J. Murray (Palmerston North), Creed Meredith (Wanganui). Doubles.—R. Caughley (Wellington), H. P, Stratton (Hastings), H. A. Penn (Ohakunc), Airs C. Watkins (Hastings). England will be represented Kv the following team: — Singles—Sir Francis Wemyss, Colonel Dupre, Aliss Steele, Aliss Retallack.
