POLLUTED TANKS
EVIDENCE OF CARELESSNESS Pres* Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. BRISBANE. February 2. It has been established that the Torrens Creek tragedy, which resulted in four deaths, was caused by the careless use of a mixture of arsenic and caustic soda, which was made to eradicate white ants. It is believed that the utensils used in the preparation of the mixture were used to take water from open tanks, which were thus polluted.
