The Bishop of St. Edmundsbury (Dr Whittinghara), ruling on the question of the burial of persons who commit suicide, directed the usual procedure where a jury finds that the victim was mentally deranged, because he was not responsible; hence his relatives and friends deserved a special measure of pity and sympathy.
