(Received September 20, at 12.35 p.m.) Wheat cargoes are quieter owing to the -weak American week-end cables, mostly 5d to Gd decline. Parcels have scarcely any attention, and arc Gd to 9d decline. Liverpool futures; October, 10s 4Jd; December, 10s 4-Ad; March, ]os Sid; May, 10s 3|d.—A. and N.Z. and ‘Sim’ Cable. AUCTION SALE. Messrs N. and E. S. Paterson, Ltd., report having offered by auction at their rooms to-day the freehold property, allotment 2, resubdivision of part block v., township of Forbury, known as N. 44 Bradshaw street, together with 5-roomed brick dwelling and improvements thereon. After competition the property was sold to Sir W. J. Carter. BUTTER AND CHEESE. Messrs A. S. Paterson and Co., Ltd., to-day received the following cable from London, dated 19th inst. Messrs Murray, Roberts, and Co., Ltd., to-day received the following cable from London, dated 19th inst., giving the opening dates of the London wool saies for the year 1928 as under January 17, March 13, May-8, July 10, September 18, November 20.
