A drunken motorist, who drove two miles with a dead man in the back seat, was sentenced to .eighteen months’ hard labor at 'Winchester Assizes for manslaughter. The car collided with buttress of a bridge, and the driver, Percy Bardy (thirty-six) of Farnborough, drove on, unaware that his passenger, John Russell Little, of Croydon, had struck his head against the masonry and was dead- The discovery was made whbn he drove to an hotel, and was found to he drunk*
