A DOG'S LIFE
The adventures of a dog worth C-U) were fold when a claim lor its possession came lieforc the Lambeth County Court. It was alleged that the dog vas: (1) Stolen from Mr A. J. Johnson, a Lambeth breeder; (’2) bought bv a man in Bethnal Green street market; (3) sold to the Army and Navy Stores; (4) bought by Mrs Hubert Vandvk, wife of the court photographer ; (5) restored to its owner when Mr Johnson recognised it while Mrs Vandyk Mas exorcising it. Mr and Mrs Vandyk sued the Army and Navy Stores and Air Johnson. Mr .Johnson Mas dismissed from the case and granted costs. The judge thought tho value of the dog at the time Air Vandyk bought it Mas about ten guineas, and he gave judgment for that amount with costs against tho stores.
