Then followed a period of 8 years, during which no payments were made at all. At this stage the member died, and it was presumed the policy had lapsed. What was. the position ? The policy was still in force, having been sustained by the A.M.P. Society out of the surrender value, and the widow received £SBO 17s 2d, being the amount of the insurance and bonuses, less the unpaid premiums.
