WAR DEBTS
PAYMENTS TO BRITAIN Press Association— By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, September 16. (Received September 17, at 1.30 a.m.) Britain to-day received, on account of' war debts, £3,000,000, from Franco and £2,000,00 from Italy. Tho former docs not involve a gold movement, but is merely the transfer of French credits in British banks to the Treasury.
