The traffic conditions at the Mahin railway station, where five trucks of s mixed train were derailed bn Thursday, were restored to normal at an early -hours yesterday morning. Only three passenger trains were delayed as the result of the accident. They were the two south-bound expresses from Auckland and the express from Frankton, which was due to react) Auckland at 11 p.m. By 3 o’clock yesterday morning the derailed vans had been removed from the line. The Limited express, which had left Auckland at 7.10 p.m.. and had been held at MannNWft, resumed its journey at 3.10 n.m., seven hours and twenty minutes behind schedule time—and tiio second express, which had been held at Auckland, Jeft the pletform at 3.7 a.m.—sovvn hows «ad twenty-two minutes late.
