NEW YORK, September 14. A message from_ Chicago states that the mid-west continues to suffer from the heat wave. Twenty deaths are now reported, and COO schools have been ordered to be closed. Thousands of people are sleeping in the public parks. Canada is also experiencing unique weather, with light snowfall reported in Edmonton and 92deg Fahr. in Winnipeg. The Western Canadian prairies are being drenched with heavy rain.
