FIVE MEN KILLED
PLOT IN CONSTANTINOPLE

CONSTANTINOPLE, Sept. 15. (Received September 16, at 1.30 a.m.) A mysterious street siege occurred in tho suburb of Pera. The Police surrounded a house and demanded the surrender of four men who were suspected of being concerned in a conspiracy the nature of which was not disclosed. Tho men replied with shots, killing an officer and seriously wounding two more. Sharp fighting followed, in which the conspirators were killed. A large quantity of arms was discovered in the house, indicating an important movement.—A. and N.Z. and ‘Sun’ Cable.
