THE WAILII COMPANY. The following information lias been cabled to the Loudon office of the Wailii Gold Alining Company Kor tbo period ended August 27. 10,701 tons of ore were crushed, lor a result of 6.547 fine ounces of gold and 26,357 line ounces ol silver. These figures include 2,623 tons of ore mined from the Grand Junction area, which yielded 736 line ounces of gold and 2,101 line ounces of silver. No. 12 Level, Empire Lode.—Driving west, the next 31ft assays 83s per ton. The reef is about oft wide. No. 15 Level, Edward Lode.—Driving south, the next 31ft assays 2s 3d per ton. No. 2 Diamond Drill Hole.—The total depth now is 1,002 ft. Commencing at 066 ft, the next Bft is andesitic breccia, and the last 28ft andesitic country rock. Owing to the absence of any favorable indications, this Hole has been stopped.
