ARTHUR STREET SCHOOL JUBILEE

Tho attention of rcaders_ is drawn to the advertisement appearing in this issue in connection with thq jubilee celebrations of the above school to be hold from September 30 to October 4. The arrangements are well under way, and everything points to a successful and enthusiastic reunion being held. The functions include a social reunion, an historical meeting and roll call, a dinner, a commemoration service, and a ball. The present pupils of the school have not been overlooked, and an outing lias been arranged for them. The accommodation lor the dinner is limited, and those desirous of attending are requested to make application lor tickets without delay. The _school is the direct successor of the Middle District School, which in turn was the successor of the First (Beach) School, and all ex-scholars and teachers of these schools are specially invited to attend the jubilee celebrations. The rolls of the Beach and Middle District Schools are not in existence, and all cx-pupils of there schools desirous of attending and who have not yet been advised of the functions arc asked to communicate with the secretaries, who will supply all information.
