NEWSPAPER STRIKE
THE PERTH TROUBLE COMPOSITE PAPER ISSUED. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright PERTH, September 14. (Received September 14, at 10.30 a.m.) Another member of the staff of the newspaper ‘ West Australian ’ has been arrested for refusing to pay his fine, and as the Newspaper Proprietors’ Association declined to give assurance that there would be no more arrests the men declined to work, and said that there would be no publication of tho paper. TJic Proprietors’ Association then decided to issue a composite paper under the title ‘ Daily Nows and West Australian,’ which was done. This will be continued till job control is defeated.
