ORPHANS' CLUB
Bro, 11. Turner presided over the fortnightly meeting of the Dunedin Orphans’ "Club, held last night in St. Paid’s School Hall. There was a good attendance, including Francisco. London, and various pans of New Zealand. The chairman reminded the members present that the next club night would bo the animal liard-np and night, and urged them all to enter inio_ the spirit of the occasion and attend in original or appropriate costume. The programme submitted lasi night was an enjoyable one. The club orchestra contributed several musical selccf ions, and others who assisted wore; Bros. T, Bachop and R. .lames (vocal duct), T. P. Sugar. P. Couchman, W. Smith, 'I 1 . IV. Dobbin, R. Bryant (songs), Allan Young (recitation), A. W. Clapp (humorous song). D. Bind and H. Davie (instrumental solos). The chairman also added_ to the fun by relating from time to time stories of ,a humorous character.
