AUCKLAND v. OTAGO. The League interprovineial mut cli ol the season will bo staged on Saturday at tlio Caledonian Ground, at 3. Auckland, the holders of the Northern Union Cup, is bringing it on tour and playing Otago’s challenge lor it. The northern team contains three of the players who recently loured England—namely, Dnfty, C. Webb, and Gregory. Dufty is one of the idols of the lans in Auckland, and is a wonderful kick. Gregory, the full-back, is another great kick. The crowds wore delighted with Wctherill in Auckland this season, and ho got n groat reception in Christchurch last Saturday. Altogether Auckland is a great side. Otago will have its best team in lor this match. MTveweti, Quin, and Tom O’Connor being available. The side has been rearranged somewhat, and il training is not hampered by the weather Otago should put up a good fight. The curtain raker will bo the final of the junior shield between Athletic and City, starting at I.IM
