QUEENSLAND STRIKE
A SUDDEN COLLAPSE COURT’S TERMS ACCEPTED TWAINS TO RUN TO-DAY. Pres* iew nation—By Telegraph—Copyright BRISBANE, September 11. Tho strike lias ended. Representatives of the unions attended the court this morning and accepted the court’s terms. They also gave an undertaking to declare the South Johnstone strike off. In tho afternoon a conference between the union’s committee and tho P.romicr was held, when tho following terms were reached: —Reinstatement of all jailwaymon; no. victimisation; the men to sign a declaration agreeing to obey tho instructions of tho Commissioner; tho strike to bo declared off from midnight to-night. It is expected that trains will be running almost normally on Monday. SERVICES RESUMING. BRISBANE, September 12. (Received September 12, at 11.30 a.m.) Following tho settlement of tho strike, all short-distance trains resumed running to-day, and tho long-distance start to-morrow.
