STRAND TEA ROOMS Patrons will be pleased to learn that the Strand Company, whose'tea rooms business has been suspended since the tire some months ago, are resuming that branch of their business on Tuesday next, tho 13th, inst., in their new, up-to-date luncheon rooms. Since tho lire the company’s building has been thoroughly renovated, and also considerably enlarged by an addition covering what was previously a vacant area at the rear of the premises. . The additions, alterations, and renovation have been carried out in a most efficient manner by the Love Construction Company under the supervision of the company’s architect, Mr Edmund Anscombe, and no expense has been spared to make the premises both convenient and attractive. The new tea and luncheon rooms are now situated on the ground floor, and consequently patrons will no longer require to climb stairs to which so many people have an objection. The rooms are heated and ventilated by the latest electrical devices. . , , The interior decorations, including an attractive fernery, have been completed in a most striking and effective manner. The furnishings have signed and supplied by Mr T. Wight, of Moray place, whose artistic work ts quite in keeping with his reputation as an Art Furnisher.
