Bay Lodge met on Tuesday evening, A.D. Bro. Cormack presiding oyer a good attendance of members. An initiation ceremony was proceeded with, ono new member being received into the order. Two nominations for membership were also received. Appreciative reference was made to the good Work of Enterprise Lodge in winning tho Ross-Stewart Shield competition. An invitation to visit Royal Oak Lodge at its next meeting was accepted. It was decided to enter for the general efficiency shield competition. P.G.P. Bro. Jacobson received a hearty welcome, and replied to the toast. _ The fortnightly meeting of Enterprise Lodge was held in tho Oddfel-. lows’ Hall, Kensington, last Wednesday, A.D. Bro. J. Bond presiding over a good attendance of members. The syllabus for 1928 was presented to the lodge, and with two small alterations adopted. D.P. Bro. Maybco congratulated tho lodge on winning the RossStewart Shiejd competition. The lodge received a visit from two members of Endeavor Lodge, Oamarn, and it is certain that visiting promotes the interests of Drnidism, . The meeting of All Nations Lodge was held at Port ChalvuorSj _A.D. !bio. Craig presiding. An invitation to attend Royal Oak Lodge next mooting night was accepted. One candidate was duly initiated, and D.P. Bro. Walker paid an official visit, receiving tho honors due to his office. Progress Juvenile Lodge held its meeting on Wednesday night in tho Methodist Church Hall, Wesley street, South Dunedin, A.D. Bro. T. H. Thorburn presiding over a good attendance of members, Tho lodge is grateful to the Booklet' Committee for its generosity in granting a page free of charge in ‘the 1928 issue Gifts have also been received from Enterprise, Royal Oak, and Bay Lodges, while Enterprise Lod°e has also presented a table suitable 0 for scallywag competitions. Tho thanks of the members are due to these several givers for their unselfish and timely aid, and it is to be hoped that the interest now taken will long continue. P.D.P. Bro. Workman (Board of Management) attended officially, and other visitors present were P.D.P. Bro. Bond and Bro. Sinclair. The fortnightly meeting of Ivanhoe Lodge was held on Wednesday, _ A.D. Bro. Reeves presiding over a fair attendance of members and visitors. One candidate was initiated, while one member joined by clearance from Palmerston. Bro, Reeves reported on the booklet for 1928, and the syllabus as drawn up by tho committee was accepted. It was decided that M.C. Bro. Simmons's photograph be put on tho second page and that an invitation bo extended to All Nations Lodge to conduct the business at the next meeting. An invitation to attend Royal Oan Lodge was accepted.
