• EVENING STAR ’ V. T. AND P. COMPANY ‘Evening Star’ playing Taieri and Peninsula Company made 214 for Jive wickets, declared (St. Clair 97, King not out 57, and C. Smith 36). Bray and Caskie divided the bowling honors, T. and P. replied with 146 (Samson 107 and Caskie 13). _ The wickets were taken by St. Clair, Wycherley, and Williams.
