The appeals in the meantime remain part heard until the registrar reports to the court.

(Received January 14, at 11.10 a.m.) A meeting of the Australian Society of Engineers decided to reject the proposal to declare a strike in the metal industry with the object of forcing the employers to grant a _ forty-four-hour week, as an early decision of the Arbitration Court in ’the forty-four-hour case is expected.
