One edition of the Bible weighs almost IJcwt., and consists of thirtyeight volumes. _ It is the Braille form, used by the blind. A woman travelled thirty miles from North Wales to Liverpool recently for the express purpose of begging for a black cat from the Atlantic liner Samaria. She had been a passenger of the'Samaria on its previous crossing from New York, and during the trip she became so attached to the cat that when she reached her homo she was full of regrets at being separated from her pet. We hoar that the following notice was posted in a Conspicuous place on a golf ccnrte in Scotland“ Players will please refrain from picking up lost balls until they have ttopped rolling."
