The Girl Citizens of New Zealand recently completed their third annual conference. This was_ held at St. Andrew’s College, Christchurch, and was attended by delegates from all oyer the dominion. Those delegates are girls between the ages of fourteen and twenty who have been officially enrolled in any community of Girl Citizens, and aro appointed., by the community they represent. The conference was also open to counsellors—namely, the leaders of sections—and these will remain on for a short' training course. To the Dunedin Y.W.C.A. community this year belongs the honor of having one of its number elected as Chief Citizen of conference. It has also been successful in tying with the Wellington Girl Citizens for the cup and flag awarded to the group winning the highest, number of points in the contests, which include dramatics, speech-mak-ing, songs, sports, etc.
