The House of Lords has adopted a resolution, which was unopposed by the Government, declaring that until the cooperation of the doctors is assured the Government will fail to efficiently provide the medical benefits tinder the Insurance Act. (Received July 19, at 9.30 a.m.) The 'British. Medical Journal,' criticising anomalies in Sir William Tlender's report, reminds the Government that they pay an annual capitation of 8s 6d for such carefully-selected lives as of postal and other Civil sen-ants.
