THE DANGER OF WORMS.
Stomach and intestinal worms are one of the most common complaints throughout Australasia. Indigestion is a primary cause, or they may be produced by constipation, or through the eating of i tainted food or food improperly cooked, j There is also the possibility of their introduction into the system in tho form of j cvsts or germs in fruit and meat, so that | all classes of the community, irrespective of ! age, are liable to this complaint. It is not alone the irritation and annoyance caused by these pai-asitical animals that ' infest the stomach anil bowels, but the more serious consequences which follow that must be kept in liew. Erom tho highly-organised and sensitive parts which thev occupy, worms give rise to great constitutional derangements, and produce a variety of symptoms, more particularly affecting the stomach and head. Many cases of convulsions, epilepsy, hysteria, St. Vitrw'a dance, melancholia, i-ervous diseases, -oid even insanity, have resulted from tliic cause. If the patient has a tendency to any weakness, the neglect to eradicate the worms from the system must inevitably cause the emaciation of the whole body and a general breakdown of the whole organism. Comstock's " Dead Shot " W T orm Pellets are a purely vegetable preparation for the j eradication of worms in children and adults. For sale by all chemists and storekeepers, price 2s 9d per packet, or will be sent post paid at the same price by the W. H. Comstock Co., Ltd., Farish street, Wellington. N.Z.—[Advt.]
