HORSE PARADE.
The annual parade of entire horses was held at Tahuna Park this afternoon, and the entries being more numerous than on any previous occasion, unusual interest was taken in it. The weather was fine, but the strong westerly wind that was blowing made things unpleasant for visitors on the road out and back. No trains were running, and, in consequence, most of the people went out by tram, entailing a wearisome walk through the heavy sand.; The ground itself is in splendid order, the grass having grown wonderfully, well, and changed the aspect from that of a sandy desert to one of refreshing verdure. The entries were sixtyseven in number, and the leading ones were' as follows.: — THOROUGHBREDS. Mr J. F. ditching's b hj Cassivelaunus, by Caractacus, aged. Mr P.
